Your Brave is Showing

Your Brave Is Showing is a space where poetry meets healing — a place born from love, loss, and the quiet strength we carry when we think no one’s looking. This page is inspired by my dad, Ted — a kind, funny, and deeply courageous man who fought cancer for five years and never stopped loving, dancing, or making us laugh.

Through poetry, I process the grief of losing him, and I celebrate the bravery he showed every day — not just in his battle, but in the way he lived: fully, openly, and with heart. This page is for anyone who’s navigating hard things, missing someone they love, or trying to find light in the dark.

Your Brave Is Showing is a reminder that sometimes being brave means simply getting out of bed, telling the truth, or letting yourself feel. You’re not alone — and your brave is beautiful.
