Teddy Cards for Teddy (My Dad)

In true Dad fashion… I went on a mission to find Togekiss—my sign, my comfort, the card I thought I needed. But I didn’t pull a single one. Not one.

Instead? I ended up with 18 bear cards—Teddiursa, Ursaring, and Ursaluna. EIGHTEEN. I was in shock. I literally said, “Oh my gosh, no way!” out loud—and people looked over like, “What’s going on?”

But here’s the beautiful part—while I didn’t find Togekiss in my own pulls, the lovely guys at the card shop found me a few. That small act of kindness meant so much.

It felt like Dad was saying, “You might not always find what you’re searching for, but love will still find its way to you. In cards, in people, in bear hugs.”

I see you, Dad. Still showing up. Still sending signs—in your own hilarious, heartfelt way.
